Some of you might have been wondering: what can I do in order not to get that flu again if my kids are sick?
I start with what doesn't work: Vitamin C, Zinc and herbal medicine (Echinacea).
There are 3 evidence-based things you can do (and surprisingly (or not) it is those things many of us already know we should do more of it):
1) Moderate exercise. My recommendation: 5 times 30 minutes or 3 times one hour per week
2) Meditation. My recommendation: as a beginner start with 20-30 minutes per day. There is a Zen proverb that says: "You should sit in meditation for 20 minutes every day – unless you're too busy. Then you should sit for an hour."
3) Sleep. My recommendation: at least 7 hours per day
